Application of Fomesafen:

It is a highly selective post-emergence herbicide in soybean and peanut fields, which can effectively control broad-leaved weeds in soybean and peanut fields, and Cyperus officinalis, and also has a certain control effect on grass weeds. It can be absorbed by the roots and leaves of weeds, causing it to quickly turn yellow and die. It will not affect the efficacy of the drug when exposed to rain 4-6 hours after spraying, and it is safe for soybeans.

Precautions:

1. Fomesafen has a long duration of effect in the soil. If the dosage is too high, it will cause different degrees of phytotoxicity to plant sensitive crops in the second year, such as cabbage, millet, sorghum, sugar beet, corn, millet, and flax. At the recommended dose, corn and sorghum were not tilled and had mild effects. The dosage should be strictly controlled and safe subsequent crops should be selected.
2. Use in orchards, do not spray the liquid on the leaves.
3. Fomesafen is safe for soybeans, but sensitive to corn, sorghum, vegetables and other crops. Be careful not to contaminate these crops during application to avoid phytotoxicity.
4. If the dosage is large or the high temperature is used, the soybean or peanut may produce burns and drug spots. Under normal circumstances, the growth can be resumed normally after a few days without affecting the yield.
5. The drug has a long residual period in the soil, will not be passivated in the soil, can maintain activity for several months, and is absorbed by plant roots, which has a certain residual herbicidal effect. Normal application will not cause phytotoxicity to the next stubble, but if the application amount is too large, it will cause phytotoxicity to the next sensitive crops such as cabbage, wheat, sorghum, corn, sugar beet, flax, etc. After the application, the soybean leaves will have withered spots, but they will return to normal after a week, and will not affect the later growth.
